Our organization stands firm on the five pillars of Sheltered, Clothed, Fed, Fueled, and Healed, each representing a cornerstone of our mission to build a sustainable world where bio-based technology fulfills fundamental human needs.

Our vision includes using bio-based technology to provide shelter. We have an ongoing partnership with two institutions of higher education for hemp-concrete (hempcrete). We are committed to developing or using biologically derived materials for the construction of housing, promoting eco-friendly and sustainable building practices.

The textile industry is a significant area where biomanufacturing can have a transformative impact, reducing reliance on non-renewable resources. BAR is exploring bio-based fibers and sustainable textile manufacturing, which aligns directly with America’s interest in bio-industrial applications.

This aspect of our vision resonates with the agricultural innovation transition. Our team is deeply rooted in the agricultural industry in Florida, with multiple farmers on our Board of Directors. We are involved in sustainable agricultural practices, which have clear alignment with the bio-economy objectives.

Bio-based energy solutions are a key factor in America’s goal for the entire economy to be carbon net zero by 2050. With our initiatives to engage in developing biofuels and other renewable energy sources through biological processes, demonstrates a direct connection to America’s mission of advancing biomanufacturing technologies.

We are focusing on biopharmaceuticals, medical materials, and health-related biotechnologies.
